I applied for Affirm at checkout on the WalMart website. The answer came back that they could not verify my identity. That's the first time that this has happened to me. I checked my credit reports and they all have the correct information. It was a soft pull, so it didn't hurt my scores. Has onyone else had this issue?
Is there a phone number for Affirm that you can call?
In the end, however, it was probably a blessing in disguise that you didn't get approved. These Consumer Finance Accounts, such as Affirm, due more harm than good to a credit profile. I'd take a hard pass on getting financing through them.
Get a copy of your Lexis Nexis consumer disclosure report and look for errors. You can dispute errors much as you would an error on a credit report.
How do I go about getting a copy of my Lexis Nexis report?

No prob. Oh yeah, they're everyone's favorite special pseudo-bureau.
The information they have in your disclosure (when you eventually get it) will no doubt shock you. This is also the source of many auto insurers reports. I've had to correct errors they held that didn't exist with "the big three" to get the proper rating tier from my insurer. I was way overpaying.
Do they same rules apply as far as 7 years with them?
