I get a free FICO8 score once a month from USA.Experian; however, I don't know how that started. How do people usually get this free?

You get one from your BCE monthly. You can also get one by signing up for the free subscription on Experian or one of their other free sites like creditscore.com. Lastly, you can also get it from Discover's creditscorecard.com.

I don't think you understand what I am saying. I get it free directly from the Experian website itself; not from any credit card company: at website usa.experian.
