How long for score increase?

My husband and I are trying to repair our credit to buy a home. He has done all the necessary steps to help his score but we have not seen any increase in score as of yet. All of the corrections were made last month- can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for scores to go up? Thanks in advance!

Most of the time I see 30 to 60 days.

Re: How long for score increase?

Depends on the problems.  Mine took two years, including a year of disputing everything in sight
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: How long for score increase?

I have been trying to work on my CR for the past 3 months.  Submitted payments and have yet to see any change in my score.  Also, if an account says "Charged Off" can you still pay that account, or is it considered closed?

I"m at a 550 now and need to get to a 600 so or above in order to purchase a house.

Thanks.
