I have a collection from 2003 listed only with ca out of SOL. I contacted by letter the oc to see if I could make payment to them and have them call it back from CA. it is only for $29.00. I have not heard back yet from OC (only been a few days) But did I just restart SOL??? thanks.
I don't think so and I wouldn't worry about SOL on a $29.00 debt. It would cost them more to file and they know if they file against someone for that amount, the person would just pay it before court and they wasted money.
