INsurance Rerate

Just courious, when you call up your insurance company for a re-rate with an up to date credit report, how long does it usually take for the underwiters to do this?  I put arequest into my insuance a weeka go and have not heard back yet.

I imagine it varies widely by insurance company.  Even if you were to fix on one insurance company, it might vary according to how busy the relevant staff are at that time.If you haven't heard back from them by middle of next week, you can of course give them a call and ask them how long they think it will take.

11 days and waiting

Checked back in yesterday hey don't know how long.  They said they were going to call and see, BUT I have not heard back.

My gut tells me they never sent the request in for me.  Afterall, if someone is asking for a rerate usually that means who ever is asking know they are going to have lower premiums, meaning lower commission for the agent.
