Innactive Student Loan Accounts & Question For Tuscany

Hi does any one know how long an inactive student loan account may appear on a credit report? Account reported as open in 1997 (really opened in 1994) - BTW I am new to the forums and think this is the best thing. Tuscani you are very knowledgeable. Do you work for a CB?

Is the TL opened or closed? I would assume closed which means 10 years from the closure date.
