Two; however, hard pulls (inquiries) only impact FICO scoring for one year. Said another way, if your inquiries are more than a year old, even though they're on your report, they have zero impact. The reason why they linger for two years is many financial institutions look at the number of hard pulls over the last two years as part of their underwriting criteria.

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

It depends what report you're reading and where you got it from. I would want to see a screenshot of what you're talking about.
I got the reports from My Fico sit
FICO only counts inq's for a year. Vantage scores like CK holds them for 2. So in FICO's eyes you have 1 for each CRA.
@Howaboutthat, based on the dates it is tracking 2 years worth of inquiries. As others have said, they only count against your score for 1 year, but may be used as part of other evaluation criteria.

Since inquiries in the last 12 months are counted @Howaboutthat , MyFICO only shows you what happened in the last 12 when you see your report with them. It will NOT show all inquires in your report for the entire 24 months reporting time.
To see that you'll need to reference your report from other sources.
