Gosh, if it were me, I'd call the mortgage company and talk to them and TELL them to remove the inquiry, as they have no permitted purpose to pull an inquiry on you.
Have you applied for a mortgage lately? If you have, then they MAY have been justified in pulling it. If you haven't then, they do not have PP, imo.
