Just Hit 800 on Experian. :-)

My friend's Chase Sapphire Preferred on which I am an authorized user just reported and is now down to $3,384 out of $5,1000, dropping my total utilization from 11% to 9%. That card went from 85% to 66%. Next month it should get down to under 49%. :-)

Interestingly, once my Navy Fed Cash Rewards card reports (the only personal card on my account that is actually mine), my utilization will drop to 7%.

I expect once it hits Equifax, I will get a boost there (do not have a way to check my FICO score on Transunion for free, so I do not know what it is there).

Wondering if I will start to get some offers at some point. :-)

Many lenders ignore AU accounts. Take away your AU and where do you stand? Go from there.

I have no idea, but I have one card in my own name. It has a $30,000 limit with no balance, and is 8 years, 3 months old, no late payments ever, no derogatory marks, and no inquiries.

What day were you added as an AU to your friends Chase card to when your score increased to 800?

And what was your score on that add date?

I was added to his 7 year and 4 month old Sapphire Preferred about 5 years ago. I have had no reported balance on my only card (my 8 year and 3 month old Navy Fed Cash Rewards Card) since last September. I use his card for primary car rental insurance. For the last several months, having paid off my card, I have been helping him lower the balance on his card (fast enough to be noticeable but not too fast to get him balance chased). Last month his balance was $4,316 (85% of his limit) and this month it went down to $3,384 (66%). Before this payment, my Experian credit score was 790.

And what was your score on that add date?

I have no idea what my score was when I became an authorized user, but since my NFCU card was probably at close to 80%, my score would have been around 6-something. :-)
