I just received an email from Credit Karma that a new name was added to my report, however it's not my name. Same middle initial and last name, but first name is listed as "Hannah Grace" when my name is just Hannah (no Grace whatsoever in my entire name). There doesn't appear to be any new addresses or accounts.
What should I do?
@Anonymous I'm assuming since this was a notice due to CK's monitoring, that the name change occured from one of your lenders. You need to determine which lender added this information (which credit card or bank, etc) and contact that lender to dispute the change. Find out why they added the new name and have them correct it. You should see the correction on your CK account the next time it updates from your lender.
