KOHLS 7-10 Day Notice

Hey Fellow FICO Psychos, I applied for a KOHL'S card at the store today. It came back as unable to complete processing of your application at this time. We will contact you via mail in seven to ten days. Do you think it is a nice way to say you are denied and we don't want you to make a seen in the store. Just curious. Is there a number I could call or should I just wait. Thanks Again

IMHO it's a polite brush off.  I've never gotten a store card after the 7-10 days line.  I'm not saying it's impossible, but I've never heard of it happening.

Your right it was a Decline. Those ba&**ds. Oh well I ve been declined by better.

hey DH  got the 7-14 day notice on target BUT  got his card came 7 days later with mine.

I think Kohls is just harder than some other stores because they are underwritten by Chase instead of Citi or GEMB which tend to be *easier* to get.

As Tuscani said though - Recon never hurts.
