Consider yourself lucky. I applied for one of their credit cards and had to call in and verify some info the next day. THEN I get an email requesting retirement benefits statement, income award/verification letter, social security award letter, tax returns for the past two years, AND a 4506-T request. Just crazy. Of course I told them to cancel the app as there are plenty of others out there who don't want an arm and leg for just a credit card.
