Hi,
I got a denial from Lending Tree last night said my TU score was 678. I have heard that they use the same model as mortage lenders do. Does anybody have any experiences and can tell me if it is the same as mortgage?
thanks
I was under the impression that LC used TU08, which is the same score provided here.
The last time I did an LC prequal though, it didn't match my score from MyFICO from the same day. So my guess is either that they are using TU04 (which would be the same as a mortgage lender) or they have moved over to the 09 model.
I can't say for certain either way, though.
lc is tu 04 100%
Lending Club switched over to FICO08 some months back.
Ahh really? Was hoping it was still mortage scores. Oh well wonder why myfico still has me at 647 TU and Lenderclub has me at 678 then?

This is my understanding too: used to be TU '04 classic which indeed was a mortgage score, and they switched. Unfortunately .

That is correct. Lending Club started using TU 08 a few months ago, but not exclusively.
The last score I got from them was TU 04.
A couple of months ago I got TU 08 and EX 08.
i still get tu 04 100% of the time
