Lock credit scores for free?

So, ive been rebuilding for 6 months now.. and feel i have accumalated some great cards. but yet i still keep searching and apping! so i decided to Lock all of my credit accounts in effort to control my self. Is it possible to Lock all three credit bureaus without haveing to pay for an account with each one? will i really have ot pay 60$ a month to maintain locked scores? lol thanks.

You can't lock your scores.  In your post you seem to be conflating scores, accounts and reports and they're all entirely different things.

Whether or not freezing your reports has an associated cost all depends on the state you're in.  Hit each CRA's site and they have the info.  From what I recall typically fees are charged to place, lift or remove the freeze.  Unless you're applying every month you don't need to pay on a monthly basis.

That sucks. I was ready to sign up for a 15 year score lock.
