Do not use a CR company if your main goal is to qualify for best mortgage rates. Mortgate companies request that all "open" disputes are "closed" prior to moving forward with loan or will not proceed with application. If it not a 100% verifiable error, fraud etc dispute, you will be asked to close the dispute.
