Just came upon your conversation here, and I have a quick question re: medical bills / reaging the default date.
I have several on my CR that have exactly had the default date or date of last service re-aged, how is the best way to get these at MINIMUM, reverted back to the original default date, without acknowledging the debt / starting all over again? I'm in TX, and believe from the chart I saw earlier, that ALL debt's SOL is 4 yrs for suing :-), so that wouldn't be a problem (most of these medical collections are from 01 or 02) but I don't even think they're valid, because I know I paid a couple.
I'm going to just try to dispute and hope they drop, but after reading that most CRA's don't actually get in touch with the OC . . . ????
