Should be soft inquiry since you're pulling your own credit report.

Soft pull, equifax .. but they have to offer it on your Mint account... UNLIKE the pay service which everyone can opt-in and pay for (credit.mint.com is $$$).. this "credit score" however is not...

I just noticed this because I happened to login to Mint.  I wish stuff like this could be posted to a higher traffic board where people would see it.  Free scores are a great resource.
