Mortgage closed vs removed?

If you see my history a big issue for me was still being on my ex-wife's house's mortgage.   13 years to be exact.   Well she sold the house last month and the first mortgage was closed.  I saw about 10 pt drop.  Well the second mortgage was removed and now I saw another 20 pt drop.  They didn't close it... they removed it.  Is that how it's supposed to be done?

I'd love if they removed the first mortgage as she missed about 9 payments 2016-2018... but the bank says they don't remove any derogs etc.

If you would have filed a quitclaim deed during the divorce. You'd be clear. But now that its done. Maybe a lawyer can do something? Im no expert. I just dont like to see a poster go unasnswered. Good Luck!

When I got divorced, my ex wife refinanced the home, my mortgage tradeline went bye bye too after I released liability from the title. The loan was held by WF
