A credit score is a crucial element in an individual's life. It helps you rent an apartment, find a good job, and borrow money on favorable terms. If your credit is low, you should take several simple steps as soon as possible.
1. Pay your bills on-time;
2. Return your outstanding debts;
3. Keep your credit utilization low;
4. Avoid hard credit checks;
5. Regularly check your credit report.
This reads like a bot message!
@LatoriaYou posted the same thing here:
Canned AI bot responces basically. This: Return your outstanding debts. Return? No settle or pay in full.
Here your placing false info:

More like a ChatGPT message. I'm thinking @Latoria needs to have the Ban Hammper dropped on its head.

IMHO, sites like myFICO and frankly any type of online fora designed to help people with any subject matter need to clamp down on these nonsensical ChatGPT or other AI-generated pablum. In no time, any possible site you follow here, on Reddit, on other credit rebuilding sites, and frankly anything from how to operate drones to personal finance to .... anything .... will get so spammed out on this **bleep** that people will stop coming to your site. It will be overpopulated by weeds like this. Nobody is willing to spend an inordinate amount of time having to scroll and delete their way through this crap. These first posts are the first shots across the bow. In no time all of these self-help and information sites will be rendered a completely worthless waste of time -- and the sites themselves will die. This is as obnoxious as any interent troll posting and now they can be automated. We need to put an end to this now or lose our community that we have all spent years and 1000s of hours creating.
@CH-7-Mission-Accomplished, "Wurd"!
I moderate several forums (automotive and aviation related) and all of them are gradually instituting a policy where many IP address ranges are simply blocked; this used to weed out maybe 80% of the crap, however, with the rise of VPNs, it has become as bit more difficult. One of the new policies, which we've been adopting over the last year, is to have a very low time threshold for new members who come in via a VPN to make an introductory post which supports who they are. If no posts are made for a few hours, or a B.S./ChatGPT(esque) post is the first post, boom, down comes the Ban Hammer along with a message to the new member saying, "If you believe you've been banned in error, please contact the administrators at <email address>." I have personally banned over 1,000 new members over the last year and haven't had a single complaint from one of those banned.

Agreed. Accounts which post this ChatGPT spam should be blocked.
@LatoriaCould you explain in your words what this means?
"Return your outstanding debts"
We dont return anything. We pay off things that are charged off for a better credit score. Lower util %'s. Or pay a collections that will PFD. I'm interested in what you have to say about this statement of returning.
And the scarier part is that GenAI companies in fact use open forums like this to feed free data to train their AIs. Remember that Reddit API fiasco recently? Right now, it's still possible for us to quickly tell what's AI and what's not. Give it a couple years of time and you won't be able to guess if it's me or an AI. Can you guess now? 3:-)
Oh and +1000 for a downvote button as well (or something opposite of Kudos) for posts specifically like this one!
