I'm confused and frustrated. I've been watching MyFICO for awhile and getting notifications that my scores from all 3 CB are increasing. It is currently:
FICO 5: 647 (Experian)
FUCO 4: 603 (TransUnion)
FICO 2: 631 (Experian)
FICO 8: 648
Had first lender tell me Oct 4th score pulled showed FICO 566.
Score pulled by another lender Nov 10th also pulled 566.
HOW CAN THIS BE?
I know scores can vary -- but to see ZERO CHANGE IN 7 WEEKS? MyFICO has been showing my score continue to increase. Are these Lenders being shady? Is MyFICO NOT really what they say -- that their service shows consumers what the Lenders see?
I'm afraid to keep applying elsewhere.
Mortgage Scores in Fico are 5-4-2
Fico 5 = Equifax
Fico 4 Transunion
Fico 2 = Experian
I assume you have MyFICO, please note that depending on your plan, the mortgage score will only be updated quarterly. For Example, my Mortgage scores haven't been updated since 10/12/22. However, my Fico 8 updates in real time, so perhaps what you're seeing (for mortgage is old) The lenders are paying to get current mortgage scores.
Call Fico member services to see how much it will cost to get your most recent up to date mortgage scores. (FICO 5-4-2)
Thanks for replying!!!
Sorry. My typo. I meant FICO 2. Yes ...I am using MyFICO.
I just opened MyFICO about 2 weeks ago, so I'm the sure the mortgage scores are current.
FICO 8 on Experian shows 648
Now what? Why would they have an 82 pt difference?

What you need to do now is pull your credit reports from all 3 bureaus to see if there are any collections, late payments, charge-offs. Something must have happened to drop your score that much. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com
Hi! I've pulled my Credit Report from all 3 bureaus from Experian app. Is that not sufficient or accurate?
I will also pull them from Annual Credit Report.com plus use the ones here at MyFICO.
Update from first Lender that pulled 566... they use TransUnion.
OH WOW! 💫
I just got a call from another mortgage lender and he listened to my situation. He told me it was "very odd" to have the same 566 score pulled by b2 different lenders spread 6 weeks apart.
He then told me they pulled my FICO via Experian as 658! 🎊🍾
This is the best news I've heard in 2 months during this process. 🙌
I finally got the Credit Report for the denied application.
Says they used Empirca (????) Which I think is TU.
But MyFICIO shows TransUnion at 628.
LIKE **bleep**?

There are something like 30+ different FICO scores, so if you want to know what score they're going to pull you need to know which score model they're going to pull, then get yourself a 3B report from MyFICO and look up your score in that model; then you'll know what to expect.
The only updates MyFICO provides without pulling a new 3B report are updates in FICO 8.
I did pull the 3B report and for all 3 bureaus the numbers are good. Still can't figure out how they got 550.
