MyFico Family Help Questions

I once read here that I could go to my bank and pay to have them pull my scores say once a year.

Is that a HP? What scoring models would that be? Estimated cost for the service and would I be able to get all 3 scores?

I want to know exactly were I'm at on all score levels before my next app spree and would pull them the day before applying.

Big app spree 5-7 personal and business cards!

I think this would be cost effective and scores would be dead on the money when I proceed?

Your advice good or bad welcome!

Thanks MyFico family

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: MyFico Family Help Questions

What I've learned here so far:
Whenever someone else pulls your credit with your approval it's a HP
The scoring models depend on the bank, so I think if you contact them they will let you know which one they use.
If I were you and about to do some apps I would just check the scores by myself and go and to the app in person. Than you would get an idea where are the scores before applying and you will get to ask the lender how much are your scores when they pulled them.
One HP you got the app and the scores.
This is my opinion though Smiley Happy hope it helps you

+1 . Plus, IMO, it would get expensive if they charge you an app fee to do so. There are some CUs out there that will pull your report and corresponding FICO score once or twice a year for free, and even go over it with you and make recommendations or let you know if you are pre-approved for this or that. Check with your local CU. Many CUs that offer the BALANCE program also offer the free FICOs.
