I desperately need a new fridge, but don't want to apply for credit and don't have the cash to outright purchase one. I know Kmart does lease it and I just applied and got denied (no idea why). Does anyone have any other suggestions/ideas as to how to go about this? Just an added note, i'm doing this because I need a fridge and not because I want a new one. Mine doesn't freeze anymore (so I can't buy ice cream LOL).
You could go to one of those rent to own places, but you end paying alot more for the item. Or you could find a clean, used working one for a few hundred.
You could try the shopping cart trick with Wayfair.
I dunno, maybe buy one of those chest freezers for now? They're cheap and super roomy. We used to have a pretty large one, then got rid of it after 10 yrs or so because we kept leaving meat in there for years. I bet you could store a year's worth of ice cream in one, lol.

Try progressive leasing. A lot of stores use them. also sears uses 2 different leasing companies - one of them is probably the one that denied you.
Third on the chest freezer....under $200 new
Even used prob under $100
Just try to get a somewhat newer one that is more eff in elec usage.
After that, you can also store frozen grocery items that are on sale.....savings to boot!
Then work on saving up for a new/used fridge.
Craigslist. Get what will get you by for now on there for $75-$100. After you acquire the funds to get you what you really want, sell back the temporary item and get your $75-$100 back.
