Negative Inquiries and Disputing

I have a 2 questions, so please bear with me.

1.  All of my inquiries on EQ have fallen off except for one from 03/07.  In my "understanding credit" area it lists a negative as "recently been looking for credit". Is this normal with just one inquiry, and from 7 months ago?  Seems strange.

2.  I asked this before, but never got an answer.  Has anyone had any luck with an ITS letter to Experian?  I have searched on this forum and found the letter and people talking about it, but no one ever writes their outcome.  It is about a "previously investigated" response.

Hey John,

Sorry I have no info to help you with #2, I've never even had to MOV.  Yet...!

As for the INQ don't worrry about it.  It's going to say that for the next 5 months and it's really just a general notation that any hard INQ will generate no matter how tiny of the 10% is impacted.  It is not impacting your score to any real degree.  Very normal.

It is just strange that no one has had any feedback on their ITS letters to Experian (or any other CRA).  I sent it off just now, so we will see.  I am just worried I could make things worse some how.

Concerning inquiries, I would have thought only 1 inquiry from 7 months ago would be positive, not negative.  And it was for an online trading account, not even for a CC!  Such is life.

bump...........Still tryng to get some feedback on battles with Experian using ITS letters.  Any success?
