New Accts ... when do they stop being new?

I obtained a mortgage plus several CC's this year.  TU has me in the "BAD" category on the number of new accounts.  Question is, when do they stop being new?  1 year mark?  6 month mark?   Can I expect a score bump when they cease being new?

Thanks!!

I am no expert but I believe according to FICO, new accounts officially stop being considered new after 24 months.

However, I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

My Visa card just turned 1 year old and my comment about new credit when from not good to good so I would say 1 year.  No change in score though.
