Re: No credit score

Wait a month or two. FICO requires at least 6mo of history to generate a score. Credit Karma uses a Vantage score instead a fico score.

Re: No credit score

Same here, Vantage Score 3.0 on Credit Karma, Nerdwallet, WalletHub all gave me a score starting in March, but my real FICO scores aren't showing up yet. Just a little left to go.

Re: No credit score

And remember too, just because one's FICO score becomes available in theory (typically when one's oldest account is six months old) that doesn't mean that a CC company that gives free scores will start giving you that FICO score on the same day.  Some CC companies can take 1-2 months beyond that.

Re: No credit score

Don't worry. Have patience. Wait for a few months.

But your FICO score will be good since your credit utilization ratio is low.

Re: No credit score

Bear in mind that this is a serious derog, not just an accidental Day 30 late.  FICO assumes that you have refused to ever pay that over a long period of time (and if it is still unpaid are still refusing).

So the seriousnessness or "severity" of a derog matters a lot more than how many there are (though number of derogs matters a bit too).  And bear in mind that "payment history" (making payments on time and faithfully) is the hugest part of your score.

BTW, I am a little surprised that you have only the collection but none of the "lates" on your report.  Are you sure about that?  That's possible though unusual.

Have you pulled all three of your full credit reports?  If a person has derogs that's a pretty essential move.  You can get the full reports at annualCreditReport.com.

Moving ahead the folks here can give you some advice on the best thing to do with that derog.  The advice will have a lot to do with whether you think you could come up with the money to pay the collection off, when it occured (according to your reports), whether there are other derogs, etc.  Be sure NOT to pay it off without discussing your options at length with folks here... especially the PFD option.

In summary, we'd need to know more about your report and true FICO 8 scores before we can say if and when you could achieve 700.  I encourage you to pull your three reports at ACR in the next week (if you are confident you have no very recent derogs, e.g. last three months) and also pull your three FICO 8 scores in a few months.

Re: No credit score

I paid for all three reports but no score, I had three accounts, finger hut, walmart card and first progress, with one Derogatory that's was now reporting with diversified consultants, that's the only bad thing on my report, my payment history is always on time
