Experian is only interested in how they can manipulate the environment, I don't remember for sure but didn't they make FICO scores unavailable "due to demands of customers". Oh, but they consider the credit grantors their customers, not the consumers whose data they resell. Also, it annoys the credit bureaus when they have to process requests to correct their bad data, those come more frequently with daily pulls.
I haven't called yet but will have to think long and hard about keeping any service providing only FAKO scores without daily pulls. I might pay the extra $10 a month for daily pulls but I have the Navy Federal deal for FICO Scorewatch which tells me when balances change and keeps my EQ score up to date. Fortunately I'm in a gardening phase where I'm almost to my goal and should be able to get by with EQ alerts and purchasing an EQ report quarterly.
Good luck to everyone still working on their credit.
I didnt see an email from USAA yet, unless I just automatically deleted it. I pulled today and it was still free.
Can someone tell me when do the free pulls supposedly end?

I'm in the same boat. I signed up for USAA on 8/13, so my next billing cycle will be 9/13. I haven't received any emails, or see anything when I login that mentions the change to the pulling frequency.
My email didn't come from USAA it came directly from Experian but mentioned USAA.
mine is good until october. I think they picked a date right after my billing cycle starting in september ends. The email with this date is from "Credit Check Monitoring Premium" and looks like the emails you would get each time you pull your reports.
Some of my possible ideas for october onward are:
1. get unlimited EX reports only from Experian.... and occasionally get my TU and EQ from myFICO.
2. pay USAA the extra $10 monthly to keep the unlimited 3-in-1.
3. switch to EIDT
4. stop looking at my EX reports. Occasionally pull TU or EQ from myFICO.
The effective date on mine is October 9. I suspect they're giving 30 days notice and perhaps people who recently signed up will get a year before the rug is pulled out from under them.
Based on what I read here, I called and asked for the 50% off discount for a year.
I got it.
Then, I asked for unlimited pulls for an additional $9.99.
They, of course, obliged.
The cost of me to have unlimited pulls from USAA over the next year is about $16.50.
Quite frankly, I'm okay with that.
The unlimited ends on 10/9 for everyone, regardless of your billing date.
I just called to cancel and was NOT offered half-price. She was more than willing to oblige and cancel immediately. I had to stop her when I realized that she was going to cancel this week, it before the unlimited pulls even stop! She said that I need to call back before my next billing to cancel.
They don't seem very willing or anxious to keep customers who want more frequent pulls. I'd like to know how people are getting 1/2 price discounts, as that was not made available to me.
This is only the plus score from EX....I use this USAA credit check monitoring for the report to see what EX has on me. Their score can eat dirt as far as I'M concerned.
Are people really waiting to be offered the 50% discount? Why not just ask for it? I did and I got it.
No one should be counting on the scores, but rather using the information on the report information that they pull. I sure do hope there aren't people out there relying on their scores provided by USAA CMS to determine credit worthiness or viability.
