Possible Reaging and other questions

I ordered my fico scores from Transunion and Equifax

I think I have a few reaging accounts On my Understanding my score tab is says last" Your most recent collection occured 2 Years, 1 Month ago" last time I had any delinquent accounts was 6 or 7 years (all medical) Under date assign is says March 2009.

Did they reage my accounts?

If I go to the original account holder (hospital) will they inform the CA that I spoke with them? (I have another account with the CA that is about to reach the SOL, which is 6 years)

"Collection agency [?] deleted for my privacy Original balance [?] deleted for my privacy Current balance [?] Date assigned [?] Account number [?] XXXXXXXX (this actually shows up) Account holder [?] Individual Account descriptions [?] Medical"

Update:

I found out the answers to my questions.

To get the DOLA from equifax you have to go the free credit report once a year or maybe if you buy it. They did not illegally reage my accounts.

Re: Possible Reaging and other questions

Was the collection turned over to an agency? If so, whenever the CA started reporting the account, that date will be used because it is the most recent recording of the delinquency. They could also report it each month if they wanted to, making it look like it just happen. The fall off date though is still determined by the OC account. Once that has fallen off, you can dispute and get the colector's account off your report.

This isn't reaging, it is just a collector showing up on your report.

OOC, does the OC show a $0 balance?

Starting Score: 627 EQ, 621 TU - 11/15/08
Current Score: 778 EQ, 781 TU, 778 EXP 07/20/12 Lender Pull

Re: Possible Reaging and other questions

A CA can report a debt anytime until it is past the CRTP.  Meaning 7.5 years from the DoFD.

Date assigned is when the CA received the account from the OC.

Date reported would be the date the CA or OC reported to the CRA.

Both the OC and the CA use the same DoFD.  If this hasn't been changed, there is no reaging.

Both accounts can come off at the same time or at different times.

If the OC account comes off 6 months early from the fall off date, the CA can still report until it is no longer legal to do so and vice versa.

Re: Possible Reaging and other questions

Last question:

The first deliquency is when they (hospital) sent me the bill and I did not pay it, right. So it does not go the time I went to the hospital

I found the answers I was looking for. It turns out the DOLA is Sept 2004 and March 2005. There is huge discrepancies and I got to find out the real DOLA, because I believe I went to the hospital twice, and I  have 5 different DOLA. So I have to find out which one is the right one(s). Which I will do on Monday.

Thank you everybody for responding.

Re: Possible Reaging and other questions

Remember, DOLA doesn't mean anything as far as repair and reporting goes. If you make a payment today, the DOLA would update to today because the last activity (a payment) was today. The date that matters is DOFD and that always preceeds DOLA. CRTP and SOL (mostly) goes off of DOFD.
