My fiancee and I want to purchase a house in the next two months. The issue is my credit scores could use some work, and as I read, I need at least a 620 to qualify with the lenders for an FHA loan. My soon to be DH has a median score of 680.
So, to move forward as we both want to be on the application, will they look at both our scores and income to give us a rate, even with my "poor" rating, or will they use his and I can be on the application as a second income?
