Hello guys,
I recently paidoff an auto loan without delays and the creditor is only reporting the account on one of the three credit bureaus.
How can i get all the account information to all the 3 credit bureaus?
Do i have to contact the creditor to ask hiim to report to the 3 bureaus?
The reason for this question is because i'm thinking of financing a new auto and it would help with my approval odds to have the prior auto loan reported on the bureaus.
How long is recent? In my experience, Experian can report much faster than the other two.
Yes, you would contact creditor as a first step.
It was a month ago, but since i opened the account, the creditor has only reported it on one bureau.
Do i just send them a letter specifically asking for them to report on all 3 bureaus or does it have to be written in a specific way?
If it only reported to one, it won't report to the others. There are some dealerships and services that don't report on all. Tell dealer for new car which report has history. Better yet, qualify before going to dealer.
