Good morning, all
Did quite a bit of searching on the forum but could find this exact question.
I recently disputed some incorrect balance information on two open consolidated student loans I have with Nelnet. The information was corrected, however, at the same time I had 8 separate closed in good standing student loan accounts (the ones that were consolidated) removed. These were my oldest accounts and have affected my AAoA quite a bit. So far, the change is only showing on TU. Per a FAKO score provider, it dropped my score 24 points, but I'm waiting to see what changes might reflect here on my FICO scores...
My question is.. Is there a way to dispute missing information on a credit report? In other words, can I open a dispute and/or contact Nelnet to have the 8 closed accounts added back?
Thanks for any advise or help you can provide!

Welcome to MyFICO
A dispute isn't going to work as it is entirely up to a creditor whether they report open or closed accounts to the credit bureaus. Your best approach would be to contact the creditor which I assume is Nelnet.
