So, the Discover Spend analyzer doesn’t work with Apple products?

When I click on spend analyzer it says I need Flash on my iOS devices. Are there any other options to check your spend other then going in and calculating it myself?

I tried on my Mac the other day, and got the same message about needing Flash. Well, at least I know it’s possible. I’ll have to see what I’m doing wrong.

As long as Discover is still using Flash, it's not going to work on iOS.

But on a Mac, use Chrome, and manually Allow Flash to run on card.discover.com:

Go to the Spend Analyzer page, and click Site settings from the lock menu:

Then look for the "Flash" entry on the Permissions list:

(These days, "Ask" is the same thing as "Block" for Flash...)

Change that to "Allow":

And then refresh the page.

If you've gotten the recent update to Chrome 76, you'll get the Allow/Block option right on the lock menu:

(But now the setting will not be saved when you exit/restart Chrome - you'll need to set it each time.)

And since Flash is scheduled to be killed off by the end of next year... hopefully Discover will have moved to pure HTML5 or d3.js, etc, before then!

This is what I do. Apple has been anti Flash for years.

I'm curious - how well does your screen reader handle most of the spend-analyzer type tools (flash-based or otherwise)?

Obviously the charts and graphs don't help much... but what about the various drop-downs and filters for tabular data?

Thank you! It’s almost hard to believe that they find no value in having a clear path to tracking reward spend.
