FNBO's doesn't work for me anymore. Anyone else try it? I tried multiple times. I actually want one of their cards, but I don't know about a HP without being assured of approval.
Really appreciate whoever put this thread together! Thank you! Very helpful!

Feb 2025: I was looking for soft pull approvals to pad my total trade lines and my total credit limits. Found the Apple Card soft pull approval trick. Unlocked my bureaus. Entered all the pre-approval info on my iPad, received the pre-approval offer of $2,000, albeit low...I was still in. Locked up my bureaus, hit accept. Kept the bureaus locked, card arrived in about 4 days, made first charge and still no alert as to a hp inquiry a week later. Everything points to having an Apple device as a must for this to work. I definitely would not have purchased an Apple device simply to apply. I do not have an iPhone so the 3% cash back gets tabled until I need to change phones (even then will I pay the big price tag to get an iPhone? Probably not.) Plus, seeing how I keep my phones forever since I take exceptional care of them, I am probably another 6 years out till I need a new phone...necessary evils. I am eager to see how I can get this limit up after the 6 month initial window of use. A lot may depend on the card switching from Goldman Sachs to whom ever steps up to buy the business. My current stats: zero derogatory, total utilization ~25%, total credit limits $99,050, total credit card lines 12, 7@zero, 5 w/balances, income $103,300, EQ 735, TU 739, EX 740. I feel as though I have never been as good a credit citizen as I am right now, but the $25k outstanding in credit card balances is still spooking card companies even though I am paying $4k-$5k off a month and have been since October. So this was a nice little no HP add to the lineup. Plus, this card is so pretty. I used it at my weekly marketing meeting as an example of marketing perfection to a specific, loyal, customer demographic. AND...the clink of the metal charge plate itself was a crowd pleaser. I plan on using it for the 2% cash back rewards for online ApplePay transactions and any low dollar (<$10) shopping in the everyday to up the swipes per month. It will be part of my daily PIF accounts for my regular monthly spend.
So if you have an Apple device and know how to unlock and lock your bureaus you may wish to give this one a go because it worked for me in Feb 2025.

Has anything shown up yet for a HP?
