Weird, I just tried it again, and it gave me a preapproval for 26.99%, but no credit limit shown. Have they stopped doing that? I didn't take the bait and apply for it, was just curious where I stood with them.

Hello everyone, my name is Codi. I just joined today but I always read the posts on here and find them to be very useful. I have been working on my credit for about 7 months now and and went from a 599 fico to a 717 today. I did all this through research and strictly using Texas law to dispute and delete. So my question is that I have seen people talk about a Lowe's pre-approval link where you can apply and they will do a soft pull and if approved and you accept, then they will do a hard pull. Can someone tell me where this link is. Or do I simply apply straight from the Lowe's website and it will do a soft pull? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I tried it and it's never shown an approval amt. for me either.  I just received a letter via snail mail from Synchrony stating I'm preapproved for a cl of $9k.  So maybe do the preapproval a few more times and wait to see if you get a letter in a month or two stating something similar.

eta: I've had this card before and the original sl was $2k.

@GApeachy  a couple days ago @Anonymous shared they went online and it showed an offer for $12k. I just tried it and I get the same as noted above, just the APR and card type, but no actual limit 

Maybe its based on browser or region? No idea but i was curious what they'd offer on a limit

Yeah, I wasn't sure why some mf peeps got the online sl and I didn't so it did surprise me when I received a snail mail offer with  said limit. I won't take it so I have no idea how solid the offer really is and won't be able to contribute any dp's as far as this goes.  

It is the highest sl "offer" thus far from Synch across all of their tl's to me though...kinda wanted to hit it but the timing is off. Synch has provided and followed through in the past with solid offers and a sl.... QVC was one if them.

Seeing as how it said "see if I'm prequalified" with the "no risk to your credit score" language, I'd say it's a pre-qual check. I followed it and it's not an application.
