Synchrony Card Reporting 2 Days after Approval

Wow that was fast! I got approved for the Sam's Club card issued by Synchrony on 7/11 and it already hit my credit report 7/13 not even 48 hours after approval! 😱😱😱 I haven't even received the card yet!😂

Thank you for the congratulations and info! That's great to know! Good thing I wasn't just under 5/24 and thinking I had time to squeeze in a Chase application! That really would've backfired. 😂

Nice approval, congrats! Synchrony reported my balance about 3 or 4 times a month for the first few months I had the card just as an FYI. After that it settled into a monthly report after statement cut.

Yup, Synchrony is known for reporting new accounts pretty much as soon as they are approved. Sometimes they hit the very next day.

That is slow. Last time I had a Synchrony Bank account opened it reported within 1hr, think it was 10-15min. Synchrony Bank is starting to slip.

@zerofire oh wow! That's very interesting!  They reported the inquiry immediately, I guess they gave me a break on the card reporting immediately! Lol!
