I will probably be filing a complaint against Transunion too. In January, I disputed an erroneous collection on my CR, and three days later it came back supposedly verified (when EQ and EX had deleted it). I find it very hard to believe that TU was able to verify in just THREE days when it took EQ and EX the entire 30 days to report back to me that the collection had been deleted.
When I looked closely at the updated TU CR, I noticed that the line that says "Date Updated: 5/06" had been changed to say "Date Verified: 5/06". Mind you, my dispute was done in January of this year. I know this because I had an old copy of my CR from BEFORE the dispute, and was comparing it to the so-called verified one.
I tried refiling my dispute and I got an email saying that it had previously been verified and that they were considering my dispute as frivolous. Sounds like whichever rep that was handling my dispute was too lazy to do his/her job and decided to commit fraud. And because of their fraud, I am unable to redispute the same item.
The good thing is I have the proof (old and new copies of CR), so I will let you all know how everything goes.
