To Remove Or Not To Remove?

Would this be something I'd want to remove from my credit?  It was my ex-wife's account and I was on it for awhile.  It shows a maxed balance  but it's probably the oldest of my credit histories.

Maybe you didn't copy all of the info, but there is no balance here. Are you sure of the balance?

Re: To Remove Or Not To Remove?

There's no balance on it. I'm referring specifically to the high balance which is extended beyond the credit limit.

Re: To Remove Or Not To Remove?

It doesn't necessarily mean that the card was maxed out. Ex-DW could have had a CLD (credit limit decrease).

I had something like that on a sock-drawered card for a while. Nothing to be concerned about.

It appears to be a 14 year old card closed in good standing.  It is helping your average age of accounts.

It looks to be a benefit.  I see no reason to ask for its deletion.
