Truist Authorized User Timeline

I have no credit history. I was added as an AU on my husband's Truist credit card account in February to help build my credit score. It's been 3 billing cycles and the account is still not on my credit report. How long should I expect it to take to see the account on my report and/or generate a FICO score?

Re: Truist Authorized User Timeline

I've read where BB&T didn't, but Sun Trust did... can't find a definitive answer for you on what they do now as Truist. Perhaps someone with first hand experience will chime in. Most banks report within 60 days, so I'd have him call and ask them about it.

It generally takes 6 months to populate a Fico score.

Re: Truist Authorized User Timeline

Thanks! Yes, Truist now reports all AU's to the bureaus as of September 2023. No one on their end seems to have a definitive answer for me, although they have submitted a dispute on my behalf to the bureaus about the missing account.
