Any chance ck will upgrade from vs3 to vs4? It's a hard score to find, free or otherwise. The only way Ive heard of to get it is open a synch account. I don't want to know that badly!
I never needed to know until you brought it up, now I must know...lol. Vantage 3.0 is everywhere. As you said, why is it so rare to find? At any rate, 4.0's only "crucial" difference is that it is supposedly going to be a required scor on "some" mortgage lenders data points. Yes, I will not open a synchrony account/credit card just to see that score.
Jovia pulls this score for display to member quarterly and uses it to undwrite auto loans, credit cards and their Line of Credit. I bet they use it for all of their credit products.
My VS3 and VS4 scores are literally different by 75 points.
If you know more banks/cards that are using VS4 directly, lemme know!
Good questions, and timely -- now that VS 5 has been announced also
If you have any Synchrony accounts they'll tell you what it is if you look under "your credit score" or something on your online banking.
@indiolatino61 VS 4.0 uses trended data (more like that of FICO 10T).
