I've used the postings on here to help my score but I have a paid after charge off from Verizon I am not having any luck. I searched the postings and got some information but could use some help.
I canceled the account when I was in college and who knows why I did not pay it until months later. I called them today asking for a token of good will to remove the paid after charge off. They said it was being reported correctly and they could not change it since it went to a credit collector. I did pay Verizon directly. The manager said the same thing.
I had a job interview and they were asking about this mark on my credit. I have read that some have mailed a GW letter to the CEO of their local office. I'm having a hard time understanding 'local office.' Florida has the regional office, but I’m not able to find the physical address for the CEO of Florida.
Any help in getting this mark removed is appreciated.
