What was your score a year ago?

You had it hard.
You found this place a year ago.
You were and still are serious about turning your credit around. Now it's almost recreational to do so.
You started with......................?
and now, a year later, you are at..................................?
I can't beleive you've done that good and you inspire me all-the-more.
Thank you

Re: What was your score a year ago?

Beenthere, good thread. I wish that I had found this place a year ago. A year ago, my head was still in the sand, b/c I knew that I had bad stuff killing me. When I started cleaning up on my own, my scores were in the high 400s and low 500s across the board. Now...(my scores are in my siggy).

Starting Score: 469
Current Score: 846

Re: What was your score a year ago?

If I see those kinds of changes in a year I will faint. Still, I should expect a very high spread if all else is equal. That's why I started this thread.

EX - 695.  EQ - 668    TU - 681

EX - 733.  EQ - 783    TU - 787

Re: What was your score a year ago?

I had to look for these, because I forgot I even had these old scores stashed away somewhere.

Then: TU 593 / EX 616 / EQ 613
Now: TU 690 / EX 719 / EQ 712

Edited to add: The old scores are actually only about 6 months old.

Re: What was your score a year ago?

What was your basic coarse of action? I want to know if I can expect like results.
Somehow I didn't know I could qualify for a credit card until I was 5 years into a BK. I didn't know my FICO scores were mid to high 600 just for reafirming a motorcycle and then buying a carmax car and never having a single bad after BK.
ONly in the last 4 months have I gotten 3 credit cards. I'm also on my third vehicle. Can I expect these changes as well maybe? These are amazing changes cheddar.

Re: What was your score a year ago?

I can say that in June 2007, my EQ FICO was 565 and my wife was 545. As of today, my EQ FICO is 689 and my wife is about the same +/- 3 points, I cant rememebr.
