hi, i have a buttload of inquiries that expired on 3/3/12. i am wondering how soon afterwards they disappear from reports? anyone have experience with this? thanks.
What do you mean by expired?
Inquiries report for 2 years. FICO only scores them for the first year.
When you say they "expire," do you mean from their one-year inclusion in FICO scoring, or their two-year inclusion in your CR?
Neither of those dates are statutory, so there is no required date. I would presume that the CRAs use one algorithm pegged to date of inquiry to delete them, so I would imagine it is fairly consistent. I have not seen a barrage of complaints over failure of the CRAs to delete.

EQ and TU inqs will fall off during the month, before the inqs from EX.
Ex inqs will drop off your CR at the end of the month following two years.
