Why are accounts I closed in the Open Account list of my Credit Report

I'm not sure I understand this. I closed a few accounts and they appear not only on the Closed Accout List but Open Accounts one as well? Can someone please explain? Thanks

Hi...I closed them about 5 - 6 years ago. Does that make a difference.

So they report as opened and closed? Are the account numbers the same?

Yes, they must be...it just says xxxx for the numbers but under date opened they are the same.

What kind of accounts? CC, loan, ect.?

They are credit cards.

Any balances being reported?

On the accounts in question, there aren't any. They're all $0 balances which is why I closed them.

Ok.. I wouldn't worry then. There are just helping your overall util anyway.
