Okay, thinking about doing a 3x AMEX CLI, this will bump me above $35,000 and will trigger the IRS transcript thing
from this site http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript I am able to see that my 2013 transcripts are now available, and AMEX asks for the "past two years"
Can I just send them info from this site? Since I have access to the PDF transcripts
the last time I talked to AMEX about this they said that they wouldn't have 2013 tax transcripts available to them until september, but here on the IRS website they are available now. Looks like its time for me to go ahead with the softpull
I'd suggest verifying directly with AmEx. They seem to be very particular when it comes to the 4506-T's. The instructions I received this year indicated that 2013 would not be available until August. What is actually available from the IRS and what AmEx will accept are technically two different things.

yeah I called, looks like they can't update their verification procedures, lol how antiquated
I looked at what AMEX would get from a 4056T and it is a transcript, it is the exact same transcript I can already access. The template for what it looks like is in the AMEX 3X CLI thread and it is the exact same thing I can see right now for 2013
too bad, I'll just have to wait till August/September then

Never done this myself, but I believe what happens is that you give Amex permission to get the transcripts, rather than sending them yourself.
