collections question

Had a business that struggled last year and had 4 different accounts with

Am.Ex. I fell behind in my payments and lo and behold I have 2 different

collection agencies calling me. Things are better for me financially now and

I'm making payments to the collection agencies. Of course now it"s showing

as collections on my Experian.  My question is, if when I get this paid in full,

which will be this year would Goodwill letters possibly work if I write to Am.Ex.?

Or am I doomed to have this collection keeping my score down for the next 7 years??

you already started paying...are you paying all of them off through payment...if not maybe you can PFD some of them...also since you are making payments with them..you can set up some type of arrangement for them to delete when your done...did you discuss any of this...are the OC...and the CA..reporting on your reports...
