credit report frozen

I was told my credit report was frozen when I applied for my first credit card.

How to lift the freeze without SSN? I am a nonresident alien without SSN. I am not able to call Experian without SSN.

Just wondering, how could you apply for a credit card with no SSN?

Every creditor I've ever had needs it to apply for credit.

I used my passport to open a secured card.

Credit beaure can locate me using my name, date of birth &address.

Usually, when you open your first card, it takes a few months to even generate a report.

To already have a credit file, and then have it frozen too is very odd!

I think my credit report is linked to others, but I am not able to contact experian because of no SSN
