First of all, thanks to all for all the great info and advice here.

secondly, was scouring CR's last noc and saw an address that is like 2 letters off from an old mail address we had.   Another CR had my current address as an old address and an old address as current address.  Do I need to correct those?  If so, how do I do that?  Also, it had my emplyoers as incorrect also.  Is that worthwhile to correct?  Thanks for the info.

I think it is important for your personal information to be correct, as some creditors use your CR to "verify" your personal information you provide.

However, if a creditor is currently reporting that information, you may not get it removed. You'll have to get them to stop reporting incorrectly.

I was able to call and update all my information with TU over the phone.
