@myfarouco Yes the late payment will show on the credit report. As the FICO score is concerned the account that is disputed if for the most part neutralized on both sides of the coin. When an account is in dispute the score go up or down while the account is in dispute. After the account comes out of dispute the account is fully factored into the score again. The score now reflect the changes made while in dispute. FICO knows the account is in dispute but not what is disputed. Secondly even if it did know it cannot tell if the information that is being disputed who is correct the creditor or the filing the dispute hence why FICO basically nuetralized the disputed account.
bro don understand what u saying , i have one late payment on transunion , but it s not showing on the others , if i dispute transunion , will ficos go down or up?
@myfarouco If you proof that the payment(s) were made when the late payment reported. Dispute it. If the late payment is removed on completion of the report you may see an increase depending if there is any other derogatory information on the credit report. If the late payment is not removed the date reported date on the account will be moved forward to the current month. Depending on when this account was last reported that might have negative affects on the score.
