Hello MyFico,
I have an iPhone loan since the past 3 months, the loan is with Citizens One (I believe they work with Apple to finance the iPhone)
The issue is, the loan does not show on any of my credit reports
I might be completely wrong about this, but as far as I know, it should count as an installment loan and show on my report
How can I have this be fixed?
Thanks,
C
No lender is required to report to any CRA, however if they do the information is required to be accurate. The easiest way to find out if they report is to call them, also it can take several months to report.
It doesn't report unless it goes deliquent or defaults IIRC; there was a thread here and elsewhere when they first started offering it and my understanding was it didn't report.
Ah, that's a bummer
The only reason and I got this was to have an installment loan show up on my credit report.
Oh, well - guess I should have done my research
Confirmed, my brother has had it for some time now and it doesn't report.
