I had applied for a walmart card a while back and never received it. I called the customer support line and they said the card was returned and so they corrected my address and re-sent it. On my credit report my account is showing closed and it has a note saying card was lost or stolen. This has caused my score to drop. I called them and my account is still open and I tried using it today and it still work. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
Ive received new cards from capital one and they never report the card closed on my credit report, upon issuing a new a one.
