If I wait until the time alloted for removal when exactly would this item get removed or be in the 7 year term ? I see it was opened in 2000 but I'm not sure which field it's determined on.

Was this ever charged off? .. doesn't look it...
No I opened a loan in 2007 and paid it off with a new loan which I've never been late. I tried to tell Sallie mae at that time I was in forbearance but they just say they had nothing on file, so it's been a battle to get this resolved.
If it was never CO'd the late payments will drop off 7 years from each individual date of delinquency. Working backwards it looks like the first late payment was in June, 2005 which means they will start dropping off in June, 2012.
